If you have your own domain name, let's say example.com, you can use it with duiadns in two ways:

1. Register a Duia Custom (Plus) account using the entire domain: example.com You can then create static and dynamic dns entries like A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, TXT records.


2. Register a Duia Custom (Plus) account using a subdomain of your domain, like dyn.example.com So the main domain example.com stays on your actual nameservers and you delegate ns1.duiadns.net & ns2.duiadns.net nameservers to take care of your new domain dyn.example.com. Maybe you want to use it to test if it's working on your apple router with dynamic ip address, maybe you want to test it IPv6 for LAN feature, it's up to you. You can then create static and dynamic dns entries like A, AAAA, MX, CNAME, TXT records.
